$ Game + Books

Played about 3.5 hours in a lil cash game with a few of the regulars and was up 1.1k. Boy did I hit a serious heater! Of course the op paid me off pretty much every hand because I'm always bluffing. Silly wild card games are fun! Watched San Diego crush Favre and the Jets in MNF too. All in all, a good night.

In non-poker related news, I have recently caught the reading bug. Strange for me because I rarely read for pleasure. (Edit: I never read for pleasure). In two weeks I have read Machiavelli's The Prince, Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo, Larry Philips' Zen and the Art of Poker and just today I finished Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, you swine! I'm not much for writing book reports so don't expect any profound analysis...at all. At least for now. But I think in the near future I will delve into the classics such as 1984, Fountainhead etc.. Who knows. Till next time.

This is supposed to be the adventures of a poker player! "Today I read a book" - not very adventurous if you ask me. I'm expecting "today I won some cash and then I killed a guy with my bare hands".

Snoozzzzzzzze.

Well, it's not as fun or imaginative as fucking penguins, but I'll get there!
